It turns out that it IS easy being "green" !

Today Yoli and I went downtown to the offices of the CIS (formerly known as the INS) for her interview. Despite the fact that I forgot to bring her I-94 entry form, all went well and she was approved for conditional permanent resident status (which most people call "getting the green card").

The CIS man stamped her passport with a "special stamp" that will serve as Yoli's green card until the actual card arrives in the mail in a few weeks.

At long last, all our hopes and prayers have been answered!

Congratulations. I'm glad Yoli finally has her 'Green Card'. May God bless you two!
