I totally agree on the design. What was the point in changing it, anyway??
According to a Post-Dispatch story from April, “the plates have features that will assist police in ‘reducing tab theft and improving plate visibility,’ the department said after the design was announced.”
The Post has also been big on pointing out a grammatical flaw in the state slogan on the plates: a missing hyphen. They say “Show Me State” instead of “Show-Me State.”
