This summer we enrolled Jadzia and Ludi in swimming lessons as January-Wabash Park in Ferguson.
Ludi is in the younger class, which meets thrice a week. Jadzia’s is daily. The girls have done well and tried things new to them, but they still have a ways to go before they will truly be swimmers.
We look at it as good foundational work, and hopefully we can work with them more closely when we visit Nan in San Antonio later this summer, with her lovely in-ground pool.
Here’s a video I made of the girls lessons last week. (Making this video was an incentive to get Jadzia to jump off the edge of the pool, which is something she has been scared of.)
