In advance of our trip to Bolivia, I decided to get a new camera: An Olympus E-PL5. It’s a mirrorless DSLR, which means it is capable of taking much better photos than a point and shoot, and it uses fancy lenses.
There’s a learning curve with this camera, and I’ve been trying to take a lot of photos before our vacation begins, just to get comfortable with it. I have a long way to go, but if you take enough photos, you’re sure to get at least a few decent ones.
Take our trip to the Missouri Botanical Garden this morning, for instance. Here are some shots that turned out nicely.
