Ferguson-Florissant, there’s a new champ in town.
Jadzia won first place in the district-wide spelling bee!
It wasn’t easy. We made Jadzia do a lot of work. Jadzia is a goal-setter and she long wanted to achieve this goal, but let’s face it: doing work is not fun. There were many arguments.
But ultimately, her preparation paid off.
UPDATE (March 9, 2016): Jadzia was recognized as the Ferguson-Florissant School District spelling champ at tonight’s Board of Education meeting!
UPDATE (March 30, 2016): Jadzia was featured in this month’s issue of the Ferguson Times (along with the Viper Bots)!
UPDATE (July 6, 2016): While attending another Board of Education meeting, I noticed they finally added Jadzia’s name to the school district’s spelling bee champions plaque.
